"Specchio vuoto" - note
Queste sono 18 fotografie al microscopio ottico di altrettanti campioni prelevati dal mio corpo, tutto ciò che nasce, muore e si ricicla. Ogni campione è stato fotografato a 100 ingrandimenti ad eccezione dello sperma che ne ha richiesti 200, il tutto in ambiente asettico presso la sede di Anatomia Patologica dell' "Università La Sapienza" di Roma e grazie alla collaborazione di tutto il suo staff. Il più delle volte ho fotografato il soggetto come appare in trasparenza sul vetrino privo di contaminazioni, per altri di consistenza maggiormente liquida si è ricorso alla centrifugazione o all'essicazione. Nel caso dell'epidermide palatale e pelle si è dovuto ricorrere a colorazioni di contrasto per renderne visibile la struttura, pelle e unghia sono state riprese in sezione.

Tutto questo nasce, muore, si rigenera.
In me come in te.
Microcosmo vivente
silente.
Un fruscio di sottofondo,
il sangue,
scorre la vita.
Vertigine.
Un tuffo nel presente.
L'osservatore osserva.
Il giudizio è bruciato.
Né bello né brutto.
Sono te,
come te non sono te,
non mi rifletto, non ti rifletto, si riflette.
Lo specchio guarda
non ha idee.
Lo specchio è vuoto.
Nessuno del Nulla
Tutto del Tutto.
Creare è un ciclo.
Bambino, ma con effetto di coscienza,
investigo il secreto.
Coscienza illumina, Humour aiuta, Amore salva.
Nella mia essenza
nella sua solitudine,
abisso,
inquietudine e meraviglia,
non distinguo separazione.
Chi è il confine?
Qual è il limite?
Incanto.
Dal vuoto alla cenere
l'inizio corre sulla fine,
sono qui.
"Empty Mirror" - introductory statement
These 18 photographs were shot through an optical microscope of samples taken from my body of everything which is born, dies and regenerates. This series was carried out at the Pathological Anatomy Department of "La Sapienza" University in Rome and was made possible thanks to the kind collaboration of the entire staff.
Every sample was shot 10x magnifications (except sperm 20x magnifications), in an aseptic environment, mostly as it is, for some of them we've resorted to centrifugation or dryng process. The palatal epiderm and the skin were delineated by dye-contrast in order to reveal the texture. The skin and the nail were shot in section.

All of this is born, dies and regenerates,
As in me so in you.
A living microcosm
silent.
A rustle in the background,
is blood,
flowing life.
Vertigo.
A dive in the present.
The judge is burnt.
No good or bad.
I'm you,
here.
The mirror looks at you,
with no Ideas.
The mirror is empty.
Nobody of Nothinghness
All of Wholeness.
Creation is a cycle.
As a child,
but with consciousness,
I look into secretion.
Consciousness illuminates, Humour helps, Love saves.
In my essence,
in its solitude,
deeply in it,
restlessness and wonder,
I don't discriminate separation.
Who is the boundary?
What is the limit?
Enchantment.
From the emptiness to the ash,
the beginning runs to end.
