“U.n.o. _ O.n.e.” (precedentemente pubblicato ed esposto con il titolo “I_like_you”) è un piccolo compendio di umanità, qui una piccola selezione di quasi 120 persone fotografate, diverso per etnia, colore, sesso, lingua, religione, opinione politica, origine nazionale o sociale, professione, ruolo, modo di abbigliarsi.
Identici nell’essenza corporea, diversi nell’identità, nel volto, come nella memoria, nell’esperienza, e nel possibile. Siamo ciò siamo, negazione ultima di ciò che non siamo. Il mondo è in noi stessi, il mondo è noi stessi, speculare. Lo specchio mostra il mondo e mostra anche il tuo volto.
Lo specchio riflette l’osservatore nell’”osservato”, crea una commistione, un rapporto tra i soggetti.
Le identità s’incrociano, le diversità si mettono in relazione, uno scambio dei punti di vista, vedere se stessi nell’altro e l’altro in se stessi, un invito ad andare oltre la superficie, alle apparenze, cercare e trovare ciò che di più grande unifica, non separa.
Le identità individuali sono rispettate in questo gioco di riflessi, l’io si moltiplica, è un invito a riuscire a vedere tutti gli esseri nell’ambito di un “Tutto”, a voler conoscere l’”altro” e sentire nei suoi riguardi un senso di unione e comunanza, a togliere il diaframma fra noi e il mondo fino idealmente a divenire l’altro; questo rispecchiarsi nell’altro è anche una metafora ed un invito ad accogliere il “diverso”, per etnia, religione, colore della pelle, per tutti quegli elementi e definizioni che utilizziamo per separarci e distanziarci dal resto dei nostri simili.

“U.n.o. _ O.n.e.” (previously published and exhibited with the title “I_like_you”) is a small summary of humanity, here a little selection of approximately 120 people photographed, different by ethnicity, skin color, sex, language, religion, political opinion, national or social origin, profession, role, and style of dress. Identical in the body essence, different in identity, in the face, as in our memory, experiences, and in what is possible to each one of us.
We are what we are, the last negation of what we are not.
The world is in ourselves, the world is ourselves, specular.
The mirror shows the world and shows your face too.
The mirror reflects the observer in the “observed”, creates a mingling, a relationship between the subjects.
Identities are interwoven, differences are related, point of view shifts, see oneself in the other and the other in ourselves, an invitation to go beyond the surface, appearances, seek and find something bigger than us that unify, separates not.
In this play of reflections individual identities are respected, the “I” multiplies, it’s an invitation to be able to see all beings within an “All”, to know the “other”, to have a feeling of union and community, to break down the barriers between us and the world, to become the other ideally; This mirroring in the other one is also a metaphor and an invitation to welcome the “different”, by ethnicity, religion, skin color, for all those elements and definitions that we use to separate and distance ourselves from the rest of our fellow human beings.
